Challenge

A leading multinational, specialized in human resources services with presence in 40 countries defined a new set of corporate values and adjusted the company’s annual performance evaluation accordingly.

The Spanish delegation decided to train all management teams in how to apply these new values, not only for conducting the performance evaluation conversations, but also for everyday conversations and interactions at work, in order to drive the cultural change based on those new values.

The goal was to develop key skills and provide essential tools for having quality conversations focused on learning and growth, whether it’s everyday conversations, conflict situations or the annual performance evaluation.

Our collaboration

2-day experiential workshop based on team coaching methodologies with a very hands on and practical approach.  

Participants learned key communication skills and abilities that create an environment of trust, as well as different methods and structures on how to guide a conversation, give effective feedback and deal with conflict situations in a positive and constructive way.

They were given many opportunities to practice new skills and approaches through different experiential exercises and role plays. Afterwards they had time to share challenges, conclusions and learnings and to reflect how to apply learnings in everyday conversations at work, sometimes in small groups and sometimes with the entire group.

Participants were introduced to the new corporate values and the specific changes that were made in the performance evaluation, inviting them to reflect on how to apply these changes in their departments and realities of every day work life.
