Embracing Stress
Challenge
In a multinational technology company people are faced with 200 emails a day, high workloads, uncertainty, and a fast pace of change are causing high levels of stress throughout the organization.
The HR department wants to train employees on all levels in new strategies on how to deal with stress effectively to increase productivity in a sustainable way.

Based on new neuroscience research, this program offered revealing insights about stress and more effective and healthier strategies for dealing with stress.
In addition, this knowledge was mixed with exercises that allow participants to experience the topics in their own skin, turning the workshop into an interactive and participatory experience.
Results
- Participants experienced a complete change in how they perceive and feel about stress resulting in a more positive attitude towards stress: From “stress is bad for me” to “I can use stress as my ally to achieve my goals”.
- Realizing that they can use stress to their advantage left them feeling empowered and more confident in their capability to cope with stress.
- They learned 4 simple and highly effective cognitive strategies about how to use stress to their advantage, leading to better thinking, decision making and problem solving.
- Participants came up with practical action steps and left hopeful and highly motivated to put them into practice.
