The road to becoming a responsive leader
BECOMING A RESPONSIVE LEADER REQUIRES AN INTERNAL CHANGE OF THE PERSON
because we can only develop new behaviors if we have previously challenged and changed our habitual ways of thinking and functioning.
More about us
Mirja Klotz and Jenny Buckland met back in 2011 and founded Responsive Leadership two years later.
At one point their professional journeys took different paths, but their friendship and mutual passion for leadership development remains.
Today Mirja Klotz is the face of Responsive Leadership and works in collaboration with her international network of coaches.
Our Story
If there is one thing that we have learned through working with our clients and developing our own leadership capabilities it is that the route for becoming a more effective leader is never direct. It involves unlearning and relearning, making mistakes, revisiting territory through which we thought we had already passed, and being prepared to do so over and over again.
Becoming a more responsive leader starts with deepening our understanding of ourselves and how our minds work. The deeper you take that understanding, and the more comfortable you are with who you are, the more grounded and effective you will be, wasting less time on ineffective thoughts and behavior.
It’s a process that takes intentionally carving out reflection time, doing personal work, a good dose of humility and a determination to keep practicing.
Our partnership has been about this journey – it began with our mutual commitment to ongoing learning and is fueled by our desire to see our clients and each other grow in responsive ways.
We provide the space for leaders to stop, reflect, reconnect with themselves and respond from a place of choice and personal strength. |
About Me
I bring 12 years of international business experience to my coaching work, including seven years in strategy consulting. I have worked with leading multinational companies in a variety of sectors.
